Dr. Pratt is the author of Imperial Eyes: Travel Writing and Transculturation and a former President of the Modern Language Association. A native of Listowel, Ontario, she is presently the Silver Professor and Professor of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures at New York University.
